Oakland city council?? No 🧔♀️ bearded lady back when real ppl built this beautiful city and didn’t run off the raiders and now Athletics 💔🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮💔🤬
May be politically charged urban renewal of yesteryear, but it’s not like the recent woke lefties have made Oakland better. Probably worse now. Total shitshow.
2024 anyone
Where did this come from
This is a amazing piece of history
What year was this
Trashy people in leadership has ruined SF
Move in -> Refuse to better their environment -> Blame others -> Area becomes associated with crime and filth -> Get propped up by others
That was gross 🤮🤮🤮🤮
"most artists steal their ideas, I pay for mine" He assures this with confidence and pride. Good for you Mr. Kostabi, now at the pinnacle. You deserve every bit of success.
“Urban renewal” Everything old is new again. Now it’s call “gentrification”. Guess that sounds more warm n fuzzy to them. Kinda like when they call weed, cannibas or pot or marijuana-it’s still weed😂😂.
Wtf i just watch 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Bruh
hair loss on the crown
Fact Check: this vintage film captures Lincoln Park, NOT Presidio.
Where can I find the full freestyle at the end ???
Great looking man he proves himself no matter what he tries. I've always believed he was a great mayor. He's for the people. ♥️🏆⚘️🇺🇲🙏
thx fair use
Nice to see this! Currently watching this on the patio of an old house in Oakland while renovating it. Awesome to see what the city looked like while this house was still new
Nice to see those homes restored . Friends live near EastMont mall when it was a Chevrolet factory . Some of those homes sold for $5000 in the 50’s now $500,000
Fun fact: Blockbuster could've bought Netflix for what would've been pennies to them at the time, but didn't believe their business model would be successful.
Honorable, karma is real, End of days. Cynthie the blood of the southern ne-gro Indian people. I am the Buddha.
The guy called Bob Ryan "Bob Wolf", apologized, and then went ahead and called him "Mr. Wolf" after concluding the interview 😭
I mean if the customer doesn’t like a movie (i.e because they don’t like the language), this isn’t the store’s problem. Movies have a rating system for a reason and the customer should have checked the rating. Plus stores cannot be expected to accurately cater to a customer’s tastes. Sure the store can suggest movies that fit in the customer’s preferred genre (i.e. comedy) but not every customer who likes Groundhog Day will also like The Truman Show.
Just remember, this was on public television when I was a kid... no wonder I have problems.
Merit's or Dave's reds?
Still hard in 2024
This was actually a good one. No fear mongering, no lies, and a much more realistic depiction of the worst case scenario of daily marijuana use (provided that in this scenario, there’s no other drugs involved, and that it doesn’t eventually lead to other drugs). I’m actually in favor of this one.
Someone nostalgic from 2024?
Yoyyyy is so crazy. I am so salty. This is salty. The RUclips is so cool actually is so embarrassing.

Heroine and Cocaine in the 1970's destroyed families Gangsta' Rap/Hip Hop in the mid-late 1990's brought violence never before seen. 2015-2021 brought Woke, LGBTQ, and Black Lives Matter protests. Blacks have NO ONE to blame but themselves.

My Bovine Excremite Detector is blowing off the charts with this hustler of the ignorant.
Before people from a certain demographic moved in a ruined it
Before the 1980's there small businesses everywhere, we had the world's #1 public school system, a person with a weekend job could put themselves through a 4 year college, & a minimum wage job could buy a house. We traded it for this: 1940-1980 Median wage growth rose 260%. 1981-2020 Median wage growth rose 5.4%. Bigotry is the tool the wealthy elite use to divide and oppress We The People. That's how Reagan got away with all of that.
Also, you're the same race as them. You and I just have less melanin and are the exact same species, just adapted to a colder climate with less sunlight. All forms of bigotry are solely based on unfounded biases and unwarranted fears. They exist so the wealthy elite can convince you that people with even less power than you (money is power) are somehow your oppressor. Call me prideful, but I'd be pissed if my representative implied I was that weak. U do u.
"Ok, so I checked and there are two copies of 'Last Holiday' at our Springfield location. That's about 470 miles from here. Would you like me to have them hold you a copy?"
This guy allegedly was the brother of an ex-member of White Zombie. He sounds super pretentious.
Blockbuster lasted about as long as it could. It was the go-to place to rent VHS tapes, and was an ideal place to get an entry level job----especially for people who just couldn't stomach working in fast food joints. Since Blockbuster had so many locations, a young person didn't need a car, as most stores were in easy walking distance. True, you couldn't get rich working there, but it was a clean, relatively safe place to work. I was into laserdiscs, so my visits to Blockbuster were infrequent, but I had friends who worked there and I found the place to be rather festive.
Having had the opportunity to work for him I learned some things that stayed with me since. First, one didn't work FOR Bill Graham, one worked WITH Bill Graham. He could perform ANY job required to put on a show and often did many of these functions along side those of us in the trenches. The second is that we owed those attending our shows all of the respect of people who had worked as hard as we did to earn the money to buy their tickets, but we deserved their respect as well, because we were working just as hard to make sure that they had the good time that they came for! He's been gone for over thirty-plus years and most of us in the BGP family still miss him as much as we did on that Saturday morning, when we heard of his death!
Could somebody PLEASE EXPLAIN to me what's happening in that scene?!! Y'see, I didn't watch the show back when it was in production so I don't know what's happening.
OK, so in their alien culture, the females only carry the babies through half the pregnancy. Then she gives it over to the male, who gives birth later? Damn, that's how it should be in human culture!
I worked part-time at Blockbuster from 1996 to 1998. Started off as a CSR, then was made an assistant store manager. I was a big movie buff and enjoyed working there. I still have a couple of the training books. We were still wearing the blue Oxford shirts with khaki pants as a uniform. The polos shirts came in after I left. I miss that place.
